Dear Joe and Family, it is with deepest sympathy I feel for the loss of your dad. Getting to know Ted during the years I spent there was a joy for me. I always admired him for the individual that he was. We had lots of talks about the old days and I enjoyed the old photos he showed me and talked about. Ted reminded me so much of my grandfather in those conversations as well. For me, he had a special humor and as he used it when we spoke, he put a smile on my face. May he rest in peace.

Please accept my sincere and heartfelt sympathies on the loss of Mr. Matthews. During the past 2 years I have gotten to know Ted during his daily walks with Dixie. He never failed to stop and say hello to me and Daisy and we would chat. He always offered a smile and often shared stories .. I'll miss seeing him and Dixie out for their stroll. Rest is Peace.

To the Matthews family
We are so sorry and sad to hear of Mr. Matthews passing .My family has done business with the Matthews family for many years .I remember when I was young starting in the early 70's my grandfather and me went to Matthews Chevrolet a number of times over the years to get his car worked on . He always felt like he was treated very fair. Mr. Matthews is as good as they come. May god bless him and his family.
