Kevin C. Pashke, Sr., 83, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Friday July 15, 2016, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born April 13, 1933 in Lilly, PA a son of the late Raymond L. and Matilda (Smith) Pashke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond and Paul Pashke and two infant brothers; and four sisters, Kathryn Ann Sohovich, Mary Louise Pashke, Carol Ann Snyder and an infant sister.
Kevin worked for a few years for the Pennsylvania Railroad; then 25 years at the former Satralloy Corp in Mingo; and finally retired after working 8 years at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He graduated in 1951 from Steubenville Catholic Central; served his country in the U.S. Army; and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Dialene (Hinton) Pashke, whom he married on June 29, 1957; five children, Barbara (Frank) DeLeonardis of Steubenville, OH, Kevin C. (Beth) Pashke, Jr. of Pooler, GA, Christopher Pashke of University Heights, Ohio, Mary Pashke and Bridgit Pashke both of Mingo Junction, OH; two brothers, Nial M. Pashke, Sr. of Mingo Junction, OH and Anthony (Valerie) Pashke of Weirton, WV; two sisters, Fernand Cox of Wooster, OH and June (Larry) Nicholson of Elizabeth City, NC; five grandchildren, Lauren (Adam) Holzer, Jillian (Cyril) Durant, Zachary (Ashley) DeLeonardis, Luke Pashke and Bryce Pashke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction. On Tuesday there will be viewing at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
