Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your son. It was an honor to have known Brock as he was my first roommate at Akron U. We only had a short time together, but Brock was a great guy that always had a smile on his face and I will miss him (even brought on my first trip to Steubenville and to a Big Red game). We lost touch over the years after he joined the marines but his legacy lives on in the friendship he helped establish by introducing me to Nick Ricci (we remain close to this day). Again, my heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. I will add your family to my prayers.

To the Budash Family - Brock was a year behind me at Big Red. I can remember seeing him at school always with that huge smile on his face, the same smile his mom has. I didn't know him as well as some, but it's obvious that he was a good kid and an even better man and Marine. My heart goes out to his family and friends that are missing him so much right now.

Although we weren't really close friends, I still respected him greatly for the type of man he was, and for the outstanding leader he was. Words can not express how my heart hurts for you. While I only knew Brock for a few short months his infections smile and positive attitude were a tremendous impact on me. The cohort is never going to be the same. We will carry his "One family, one fight" with us forever. May God Bless you and give you comfort through this difficult time.
