Anna M. Wszeborowski

Anna M. Wszeborowski, 92, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Sunday April 9, 2017 at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio.

She was born November 13, 1924 in Mingo Junction, Ohio a daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Pekalla) Odroneic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James Wszeborowski; her daughter, Rita Ann Habash; two sisters of the Franciscan Order, Sister Rita and Sister Martha Mary; five brothers, Joseph, Francis, Stephen, Vincent and Thomas Odroneic.

She is survived by her dearest friend, Paul Grim of Mingo Junction, OH; a son, Timothy Wszeborowski of Dresden, OH; a daughter Nancy (David) Bednarek of Mingo Junction, OH; a son-in-law, Albert Habash of Toronto, OH; one grandson, James (Barbara) Habash of Bexley, OH; two great-grandchildren, Allison and Michael; a sister, Elizabeth Wszeborowski of Wintersville, OH; many nieces, nephews, and eight godchildren.

Anna was an active member of the former St. Bernadette Church where she served as a Eucharist Minister, Lector and Choir member. She was a member of the St. Francis Society, Cursillo Society, and Catholic Womens Club. She is a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and served as a Eucharist Minister until 1994.

She attended St. Agnes Grade School and graduated from Mingo High School and Thompson’s Secretarial School in Steubenville.  

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday April 17th from 2-6 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction. On Tuesday April 18th there will be viewing at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband and daughter Rita.

There will be a Vigil service on Monday at 5:45 p.m.
