William "Bill" Eastham

William M. “Bill” Eastham, 71, of Rush Run, OH, passed away Tuesday October 17, 2023 at Weirton Medical Center.

He was born August 20, 1952, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Robert L. Eastham and Phyllis M. (Parr) Eastham Hallmark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Diana Lynn Eastham; and a brother, Robert “Gene” Eastham.

Bill retired in 1999 from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp where he worked in the crane department and the locomotive car shop. He was a member of the Plum Run Church of Christ in Christian Union and the Pine Valley Sportsman Club. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, fishing, hunting and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Frostie (Loppe) Eastham, whom he married September 29, 1971; three daughters, Billie-Jo (Ron) Anderson of Rayland, OH, Kathy (Edward) McClain of Fremont, OH and Jennifer Eastham of Steubenville, OH; a step-son, Rusty McLean of Carrolton, OH; five siblings, Ellie (the late Rich) Polito of Taylorsville, NC, Nancy (the late Dave, Sr.) Mains of Rayland, OH, Debra (Charles) Snider of Bloomingdale, OH, Roger (Samantha) Eastham of Rayland, OH and Linda (Dan) McCain of Mingo Junction, OH; and seven grandchildren, Dylan (Renee) McLean, Sarah Allen, Sadara Allen, Zach Hartley, Coda Anderson, Katie Anderson and Blake Anderson.

Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, where his funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Randy Barker, officiating.  Private interment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
