William J. Robinson

William J. “Willy” Robinson, Jr., 73, of Mingo Junction, OH, went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 21, 2020 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

He was born November 4, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late William J. Robinson, Sr. and Beula P. “Bootsie” (Young) Robinson Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert A. Robinson Sr. and Arthur Robinson; two sisters, Sandra L. Morocco and Theresa Robinson; his step-father, Jim Bell; a daughter, Elia Santarelli; and a nephew, Albert Robinson.

Willie enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and the Steelers. He was a member of the Lock 10 Bass Club in Steubenville, OH. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his great-grandson, Ze’Shaun.

Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Gina L. (Mazalic) Robinson; a daughter, Michelle (Robert) Leasure of Steubenville, OH; two grandchildren, Sierra Horstin and Stephen Gorman; a great-grandson, Ze’Shaun Touvel; a sister-in-law, Sandy Robinson; two nieces, Staci and Ashley; and four nephews, Broc, Lil Paul, Lil Billy and Big Paul.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH on Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. Following the visitation memories and stories will be shared by the family. Masks are absolutely required and please follow social distancing guidelines. The family is requesting that you wear your Steeler gear for Willy.
