Thomas J. "TJ" Denard

Thomas J. “TJ” Denard, 74, of Wheeling, WV passed away Wednesday November 23, 2022 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, OH.

He was born June 16, 1948 in Romney, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. DiNardo; his step-mother, Juanita DiNardo; and a daughter-in-law, Lura Gear.

TJ retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp where he was a machinist. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Warwood Vets and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gayle (Reinbeau) Denard; two sons, Paul (Jennifer) Denard of Wheeling, WV and Shawn Denard of Wheeling, WV; a daughter-in-law, Paula Denard of Wheeling, WV; five grandchildren, Nena Denard, Paul Denard, Jr., Chase Bartch, Vanessa Hicks and Brayden Hicks; a great-granddaughter, Thea Edgell; and his half-sister, Sandy (Carl) Lumsden of Martins Ferry, OH.

In following with T.J.’s wishes there will be no services.
