Roy W. Jarman, 55, of Brilliant, OH, passed away unexpectedly Monday September 29, 2025 at home.
He was born June 5, 1970, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Edward T. and Betty J. (Cominsky) Jarman, Sr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Edward T. Jarman, Jr., and nephew, Austin C. Morando.
Roy started his career as a maintenance man at Coronet Foods in Wheeling, WV before moving on to Nickles Bakery in Martins Ferry, OH for nearly 20 years. He finally finished his career at Ohio Coatings in Yorkville, OH. He was a loyal member of the Mingo Sportsman Club where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also a die-hard fan of the Washington Redskins football team.
Surviving are two daughters, Courtney (Shane) Marr of Barnesville, OH and Rachel Jarman of Dillonvale, OH; two sisters, Laurie Morando of Tiltonsville, OH and Donna (Oliver) Woodford of St. Clairsville, OH; two nieces; a nephew; two great-nieces and his best friend whom he loved like a brother, Bo (Heather) Jackson of Mingo Junction. He will also be missed by his faithful K9 companion, Snowball.
A celebration of Roy's life will be held on Wednesday October 8th at Hank's Polish Place, 133 Martha St., Yorkville, OH from Noon till 6:00 p.m.
