Rich Davis, Jr.

Arthur R. “Rich” Davis, Jr., 60, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away Friday July 19, 2019 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born July 9, 1959 in Steubenville, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur R. Davis, Sr.; and his father-in-law, Thomas W. Bensie, Sr.

Rich retired from I.B.E.W. Local 246 where he was a member for over 35 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working around the house, in the garden and in the yard.

Surviving are his wife, Susan (Bensie) Davis, whom he married Dec. 31, 2008; his parents, John and Nora (Merritt) Bosela of Steubenville, OH; a son, Arthur R. “Richie” (Angie) Davis, III of Weirton, WV; a daughter, Amber Davis of Bergholz, OH; two step-daughters, Sarah Kushner and her companion Lucas Parrish and Melissa Kushner and her companion Bryan Parrish, both of Piney Fork, OH; a brother, Joe (Julie) Davis of Steubenville, OH and their daughter Raylee; two sisters, Dawnitta Chichilla of Irwin, PA and her daughter Jessica and Marge (Jim) Cunningham of Steubenville, OH; his mother-in-law, Mary Bensie of Mingo Junction, OH; and six grandchildren, Emma and Regan Davis, Briley and Addison Davis, and Zoey and Nathan Parrish.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of his funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating.
