Patricia A Simmons

Patricia A. Simmons, 79, of Brilliant, OH, formerly of Steubenville, OH passed away Thursday October 23, 2025 in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born December 28, 1945 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Harry and Elsie (Martin) Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Brown, and two sisters, Clara Adams and Dorothy Bonar.

Patricia was a home health caregiver, and she attended the Meadowbrook Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Troy (Jennifer) Simmons of Shadyside, OH; a daughter, Shauna Simmons of Chicago, IL; three grandchildren, Karissa (Corey) Fellows, Ericka Simmons and Landen Simmons; two great-grandchildren, Rylan and Braiden Edgell; and three special lifelong friends and caregivers, Lois Baker, Laura Work and Cathy Risdon.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Westling, officiating. Private interment at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
