Myra K. Dunfee

Myra K. Dunfee, 69, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Tuesday October 29, 2024 in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

She was born September 5, 1955 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late John R. “Jack” and Elinor L. “Wee” “Highlift” (Dickinson) Casey, Sr.

Myra retired from Indian Creek School District where she was a custodian for over 20 years. She was currently working at Downtown Bakery in Steubenville. She graduated from Mingo High School in 1974.

Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer (Kristopher) Potts; a son, Christopher (Victoria) Casey; a brother, John R. Casey, Jr.; four grandchildren, Addison Casey, Aedan Casey, Sean Casey and Heather Cohen; two nieces, Kelly Casey Bailey and Heather Vandeborne; and her former husband, Richard A. Dunfee.

In following with Myra’s request there will be no services. Private burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.
