Loretta Dialene Pashke

Loretta Dialene Pashke, 86, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Tuesday July 6, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 31, 1934 in Marietta, OH, a daughter of the late Melvin and Jesse (Cochran) Hinton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin C. Pashke, Sr. on July 15, 2016; a sister, Dixie Sylvester; and a brother, Michael Hinton.

Dialene was a secretary at the former Ohio Power Company from 1951-1960. She worked for the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County from 1984-2000 as a librarian on the bookmobile. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and enjoyed reading. Most importantly Dialene enjoyed being a homemaker and a mom.

Surviving are five children, Barbara (Frank) DeLeonardis of Steubenville, OH, Kevin C. (Beth) Pashke, Jr. of Savannah, GA, Christopher (Michelle) Pashke of University Heights, OH, Mary Pashke of Mingo Junction, OH and Bridgit Pashke of Mingo Junction, OH; five grandchildren, Lauren (Adam) Holzer, Jillian (Cyril) Durant, Zachary (Ashley) DeLeonardis, Luke Pashke and Bryce Pashke; two great-grandchildren, Cecilia Grace Holzer and Ezra James Durant; and one great-grandchild due any day.

Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction. There will also be viewing on Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.

There will be a Vigil Service on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
