Kenneth R. “Kenny” Clark, Sr.,79, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Thursday October 20, 2022 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
He was born September 9, 1943 in Bellaire, OH a son of the late John William Clark and Frances (Arkley) Clark Jenny. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Carl Jenny; two sons, Kenneth R. Clark, Jr. and John Clark; a daughter, Margaret Ann Howard; a brother, John Franklin Clark; and a sister, Shirley Schlag.
Kenny did construction work in Florida for 3 ½ years; worked at Vanadium for 17 years; and was a cook at the Williams Country Club, Pleasant Valley Country Club and Wheeling Downs. He was the former commander for the Sons of the American Legion in Brilliant, OH; a social member of the Brilliant American Legion; and he used to bowl and shoot pool.
He is survived by a son, Mark (Jodie) Clark of Mingo Junction, OH; a daughter, Mary Frances Wilson of Mingo Junction, OH; two sisters, Bert (Stewart) Moore of Steubenville, OH and Sue (Dale) Brown of Steubenville, OH; a brother, Charles Jenny, Sr. of Smithfield, OH; his fiancé, Robin Hardy of Brilliant, OH; his former wife, Mary Ann McDonald of Mingo Junction; OH; and; thirteen grandchildren, Renee and Brent Staudacher, Jeffrey Howard II, Ashley and Landen Wilson, Dustin, Marki, Miah, Carson, Jace, Miranda, Jonathon and Braylynn Clark; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. There will be a SAL service at 5:00 p.m. and his funeral service will follow with Bill Smythe, officiating.
