John E. "Butch" Granatir, Jr.

John E. “Butch” Granatir, Jr., 80, of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday July, 20, 2024 at home.

He was born April 19, 1944, in Steubenville, OH a son of the late John E. and Jean (Mellott) Granatir, Sr.

Butch retired from the Blast Furnace at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in Mingo where he worked for 40 years. He was an avid golfer.

Surviving are his wife, Toni (Panepucci) Granatir, whom he married April 1, 1967; two daughters, Kelly Jean Granatir and Jonni Lyn (Melvin) Ritchie, both of Steubenville, OH; and two grandsons, Isaiah Granatir and Troy Ritchie.
