James J. “Jimbo” Marcinko, 57, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Sunday June 28, 2020 at Catherine’s Care Center in Steubenville, OH.
He was born July 12, 1962 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late James “Jim” Marcinko and Barbara Ann (Kulin) Marcinko of Mingo Junction, OH.
Jimbo was a field tech/weld inspector, aerial equipment operator and crane mechanic for World International Testing, Inc. He loved mechanics, painting cars, cooking, reading and watching ME TV. He was also a Jr instructor at the former Jeff Tech in Steubenville.
In addition to his mom Barbara, he is survived by his daughter, Cacharel (Kenny, Jr.) Torok of Mingo Junction, OH; a brother, David Marcinko of Mingo Junction, OH; three grandchildren, KJ, Lilliana and Isabella; his aunt and godmother, Dorothy Makara of Mingo Junction, OH; several cousins who were very close to his heart, Bonita, Ricky and Sallie; his good friend Russell; and extended work family at WIT, especially Joe and Leah.
There will be a celebration of Jimbo's life at Hillsboro Tavern, 804 McLister Ave., Mingo Junction on Tuesday July 7th at 4:00 p.m.
