Harry "Rex" Blanchard

Harry “Rex” Blanchard, 71, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Friday May 17, 2024 at home.

He was born March 15, 1953 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Glennister A. and Mary Ellen (Smith) Blanchard, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Ann Tate; and his companion, Violet Haines.

Rex retired from the street department in Wells Township. He graduated from Brilliant High School in 1972 and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Brilliant.

Surviving are a brother, Glennister A. (Kathy) Blanchard, Jr. of Harrisburg, PA; two nieces; one nephew; and his faithful furry companion, Honeybun.

Private burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.
