Grace Evelyn Perri

Grace Evelyn Perri, 98, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Sunday April 28, 2024 in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

She was born September 26, 1925 in Rush Run, OH, a daughter of the late William J. and Hazel (Wilburn) Bensie, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph “Rudy” Perri; five brothers, Charles H., William J., Fred “Bud”, Thomas Bensie, Sr. and an infant brother, Hayes Bensie; and two sisters, Virginia Ellis and Betty Fabry.

Grace was a homemaker and she also cleaned houses for people all over the Ohio Valley. She was a member of the Rush Run Christian Union Church. Grace enjoyed looking for and collecting arrowheads and she loved her flowers and gardening.

Surviving are a sister, Shirley Brown of Rush Run, OH; two sisters-in-law, Mary Bensie of Mingo Junction, OH and Rhea Bensie of Rush Run, OH; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating. Private interment at New Alexandria Cemetery.
