George Taylor Obituary

George B. “Geo” Taylor, 56, of Richmond, OH, passed away Monday March 25, 2024 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born November 19, 1967 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Norman E. and Barbara J. (McAvoy) Taylor, Sr.

Geo loved being a truck driver and he owned Taylor and Son Trucking working mainly for Egypt Valley Stone out of Belmont, OH. He was an active member of the Jefferson Sportsman Club and liked to hunt and fish. George was an avid Ohio State fan, he was a season ticket holder and went to every home game. He also enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Surviving are three siblings, Penny (Bryan) Snyder of Mingo Junction, OH, Norman E. Taylor, Jr. and his companion Annette McConnell of Bloomingdale, OH and Milissa Taylor of Baden, PA; three nieces and one nephew, Amanda James, Heather (Jeff) Sims, Norman Joseph (Angela) Taylor and Danielle (Alex) Moffat; and nine great-nieces and nephews, Christian and Hayden James, Duncan Lawrence, Rebekah Sims, Randy Wade, Tucker Taylor, and Raegan, Paige and Ethan Moffat.

In following with George’s request there will be no services.
