Edward J. "Ed" Dahlem

Edward J. “Ed” Dahlem, 68, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Wednesday September 11, 2024 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

He was born January 22, 1956, in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Paul and Josefa “Josie” (Drenovacz) Dahlem.

Ed was a boilermaker and retired in 2010 from the boiler house at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of the Smithfiled Masonic Lodge #182 and the Pine Valley Sportsman Club. Ed enjoyed coaching his sons little league baseball team, hunting and especially fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda (Scaffidi) Dahlem, whom he married June 4, 1977; a son, Matthew Dahlem of Steubenville, OH; and three siblings, John “J” (Betty) Dahlem of Tampa, FL, Barbara (Russell) Cutri of Boise, ID and Sandy Waggoner of Endwell, NY.

Honoring Ed’s wishes there will be a private family gathering at a later date.
