Debra S. "Debbie" Anderson

Debra S. “Debbie” Anderson, 65, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away peacefully Thursday July 6, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 15, 1958 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late William “Winks” and Rose (Marshall) McGrew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William “Bunker” McGrew.

Debbie graduated from the Ohio Valley School of Nursing in 1995. She was a registered nurse for Alexandria Home Health, Weirton Geriatric Center, Catherine’s Care Center, Bolger Country Club and Lancia Nursing Home. She enjoyed landscaping and working in her yard as well as vacationing in the Outer Banks. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Surviving are her husband, Francis K. “Frank” Anderson, whom she married July 25, 1986; a son, Jaremee (Tara) Costlow of Mingo Junction, OH; a daughter, Deann (Brandon) Matuska of Toronto, OH; a brother, Charles McGrew of Unionport, OH; three sisters, Theresa James of Dickinson, TX, Janet (Dave) Foley of Floyds Knob, IN and Edie (Doug) Dean of Attica, OH; five grandchildren, Aaliyah (Isaiah) Mullins, Ivy Costlow, Brayden Matuska, Alec Costlow and Taylor Arnold; and a great-grandson, Braxton Keith Mullins.

In following with Debbie’s wishes there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed in Debbie’s name to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943.
