Daunna J. (Ford) Moffo

Daunna J. Moffo, 79, of New Alexandria, OH, passed away Friday April 4, 2025 in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born October 8, 1945 in West Union, WV, a daughter of the late Bernard B. and Clara (Swiger) Ford, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Moffo on January 27, 2019; and a granddaughter, Victoria “Tori” Moffo.

Daunna was a homemaker and she also worked at Hills Department Store, Ames and then Walmart. She was a member of Kolmont Community Chapel. Daunna enjoyed watching the birds, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Deann (Dennis) McNulty of Haddonfield, NJ, Tammy (David) Slivka of Brilliant, OH and Tom (Malinda) Moffo of New Alexandria, OH; two brothers, Bernard “Butch” (Debbie) Ford, Jr. of Brilliant, OH and Jeffrey (Lori) Ford of Martins Ferry, OH; a sister, Patricia A. Haught of New Alexandria, OH; ten grandchildren, Dylan McNulty, Danny McNulty, Bailey Crain, Hannah Crain, Monica (Nathan) Hesske, Josh (Emmily) Moffo, Michael Truby, Makayla Truby and her fiancé Drake, Madison (Travis) Mann and Matthew Truby; and six great-grandchildren, Millie Moffo, Taven Hesske, Aiden Vanmeter, Ryder Vanmeter, Payton Mann and Laiken Mann.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Wednesday April 9th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Kenny Kourim, Jr., officiating. Private interment at New Alexandria Cemetery.
