Clifford Bright

Clifford ‘Cliff” Bright, 81, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Wednesday December 14, 2022 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

He was born May 20, 1941 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late George P. “Bus” and Madeline (Puzzuole) Bright, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Bright; a grandson, Mahlon Shields; a brother, George Bright, Jr.; and a sister Pamela Kilgore.

Cliff was a bookkeeper in the car business and worked at Riley Chevrolet, Hanna Chevrolet, J&J in Toronto, OH and Team in Steubenville, OH where he retired in 2020. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Brilliant American Legion Post 573. He also attended the Brilliant Christian Church and enjoyed yardwork.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Wilburn) Bright, whom me married March 21, 1964; two children, Steve (Deneen) Bright of Colliers, WV and Denise (Brett) Hall of Wintersville, OH; three grandchildren, Christopher, Julia and Jonathan Bright; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Wanda) Bright of Toronto, OH; and a sister, Marsha (Bob) Koehnlein.

In following with Clifford’s wishes there will be no services.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Home, Brilliant.
