Charles D. "MAC" McEndree

Charles D. “MAC” McEndree, 68, of Mingo Junction, OH, formerly of Brilliant, OH, passed away Monday March 27, 2023 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH. 

He was born on November 30, 1954 in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late Charles W. “Babe” and Lenora “Jean” (McGee) McEndree.

MAC worked security at Ohio Coal until the time of his injury and he also volunteered at the Wells Twp. Haunted House for many years. He was a member of the Brilliant Christian Church. He enjoyed watching TV, especially crime shows, movies and sports. He was an avid Steelers, Penguins and Ohio State fan. He collected coins and Hot Wheels.

He is survived by four children, Jasen (Michelle “Mikki) McEndree of Sewickley, PA, Jessica (Alvin) Dowell of Rush Run, OH, Adam McEndree of Mingo Junction, OH and Roman McEndree of Follansbee, WV; three sisters, Lenora “Darlene” (Larry) Cassidy of Washington, PA, Cheryl (Mark) Cline of Richwood, OH and Jill (John) Walters of Brilliant, OH; and two grandchildren, Calvin and Maisie Dowell.

Friends will be received at Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Avenue, Mingo Junction, OH on Sunday April 16th from 12:00 p.m. until the time of his memorial service at 3:00 p.m. with John and Jill Walters, officiating. Private burial at New Alexandria Cemetery. In MAC’s memory the family is requesting everyone to wear sports team attire to his service.
