Carol M. Repka-Kensicki, 80, of Yorkville, OH, passed away Sunday October 31, 2021 at American House in Macedonia, OH.
She was born September 29, 1941 in Rush Run, OH, a daughter of the late Carl R. and Lillian E. (Brown) Mossor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Repka; the father of her children, Donald E. Rea, Sr.; a son, Donald E. “Donnie” Rea, Jr.; two brothers, Rodney Mossor and infant Glen Mossor; and two sisters, Hazel Silver and infant Dawna Mossor.
Carol was the retired assistant treasurer for the Buckeye Local School District and a member of the Brilliant Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Kensicki, whom she married on July 15, 2011; three sons, Brian C. (Linda) Rea of Riner, VA, James D. (Heidi) Rea of Lacey, WA and Gregory P. (Teresa) Rea of Mingo Junction, OH; three brothers, Carl L. “Cotton” (Kathy) Mossor of Rayland, OH, Pastor Kenneth (Carol) Mossor of Kidron, OH and Marvin (Lori) Mossor of Rushville, IN; two sisters, Sherry (Robert) Eltringham of Rayland, OH and Barbara (Franklin) Piatt of Steubenville, OH; and seven grandchildren, Kyle (Emily), Bryan (Kriston), Zackary, Tyler, Amber and Austin Rea and Marissa (Matt) Jaskiewicz.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 and also on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating. MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED. Interment will follow at Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH.
