Beverly J. “Gram” Crossley, 82, of Mingo Junction, OH passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born on January 18, 1940 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Yingst) Tatar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Crossley; a daughter, Cindy Hickman; a brother, Michael Tatar; a great-grandson, Bryce Fankhauser; and a great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Beard.
Gram was a spit fire and loved to sit on her porch. She loved turtles, gorillas, and was the worst at keeping secrets.
Gram is survived by three daughters, Terri McMillion and her companion William Gilbert, Tina (Bob) Horn and Bobbie Crossley; her three granddaughters, whom she raised as her daughters, Lochane Nonemaker, Deneen (Jeffrey) Mitchell and Kara (Scott) Fankhauser; her “favorite” granddaughter, Misty (Kristopher) Locke; grandson, Casey Crossley (we have no idea how he puts up with all of us females); another granddaughter, Shana Nonemaker; six additional grandkids, who live out of state, Patrick (Liz) McMillion, Robert (Ella) LaBrie, Skyler McMillion, Tisha (Tony) Beard, Robert (Kelsey) Hess and Trisha Nonemaker; great-grandkids, Rylee Krager, Hannah and Lily “Favorite #1” Mitchell, Bliss, Tess and Easton Locke, Jace and Ellia “Favorite #2” Fankhauser, Bubby Crossley; and thirteen additional great-grandkids out of state.
In following with Gram’s wishes there will be no funeral service and burial at Oakland Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed in Gram’s memory to The Bay Six Project, 618 Commercial St., Mingo Junction, OH 43938.
