Velma M. Goddard, 76, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Tuesday July 26, 2016 at home.

She was born March 5, 1940 in Georgetown, PA, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Hughes) Miller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, George Miller; and a sister, Mary Stewart.

Velma worked for many years as a cashier at the Super C in Smithfield, Ohio and she was an excellent cook.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph Goddard, whom she married on January 25, 1963; a son, Dale Goddard of Mingo Junction, OH; two daughters, Sondra (Ron) Zackey and Dara (Shawn) Martin both of Mingo Junction, OH; a daughter-in-law, Betsy Goddard of Wintersville, Ohio; a brother, Earl (Wilda) Miller of Hookstown, PA; two sisters, Helen Miller of Brilliant, Ohio and Sarah (Paul) Cusick of Rayland, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Collin & Schianne Goddard, Katie and Maria Zackey, and Haeleigh, Logan and Paige Martin.

In following with Velma's wishes funeral services were private. Private interment at New Alexandria Cemetery.
