Tracy L. Merritt, 56, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Friday January 26, 2018 at Valley Hospice Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV.

He was born September 20, 1961 in Wheeling, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry G. Merritt.

Tracy was a truck driver for EAP Industries in Burgettstown, PA. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing sports and watching football. Tracy was a thoughtful and caring person; he had a tough exterior but was really a big softie.

Surviving are his mom, Patricia (Loper) Merritt, formerly of Brilliant, OH; a daughter, Tiah Merritt; his wife, Hope Cross and her grandchildren, Dustin and Annabelle Morgan, all of Brilliant, OH; a sister, Dawn (David) Onuffer; a nephew, Allan Henry; two nieces, Brooklyn and Lindsay Onuffer; and two great-nieces, all of Crestview, FL.

In following with Tracy's wishes there will be no services.
