Thomas G. "Tom" Strohmeyer, Sr., 81, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Friday April 2, 2021 at home.

He was born February 7, 1940 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Ernest and Grace (Pete) Strohmeyer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernie, Billy, David and John Strohmeyer.

Tom retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. where he was a Millwright. He served his country in the U.S. Army During Vietnam.

Surviving are his wife , Charmane (Eddy) Strohmeyer, whom he married on November 15, 1988; a son, Thomas (Theresa) Strohmeyer, Jr. of Tiltonsville, OH; a daughter, Betty (Michael) Johnston of Mingo Junction, OH; a step-daughter, Phoebe (Chris) Marsh of Shadyside, OH; two sisters, Annamae Orsion of Toronto, OH and Mary McClung of Columbus, OH; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of his funeral service at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Renforth, officiating. Masks are required at the funeral home.
