Tammy D. Morris, 53, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Saturday February 25, 2023, in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born April 6, 1969 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Charles K. Abercrombie and Doris J. (Willyard) Cumberlidge.

Tammy retired from Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV where she was an activity aide. She was a very active member of Rosemont Chapel. Tammy loved children, especially the VBS kids, and being an aunt to her nieces and nephews, that was her calling. She enjoyed shopping, bowling and was an avid Ohio State fan. She was a member of T.O.P.S. in Martins Ferry, OH. She was loved and will be missed by everyone.

Surviving are her husband, James G. Morris, whom she married May 21, 1988; five siblings, Sarah (Raymond) Cooper of Wintersville, OH, Ernest (Kelly) Abercrombie of Cambridge, OH, Thomas (Cindy) Abercrombie of Mingo Junction, OH, Todd (Martha) Abercrombie of Wheeling, WV and Wayne (Joyce) Abercrombie of Wellsburg, WV; her step-father, Charles R. Cumberlidge of Moundsville, WV; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH.  On Thursday there will be viewing at Rosemont Chapel, 23 Williams Blvd., Steubenville from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Raymond Cooper, officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
