Steven A. "Steve" Turner, 62, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Monday October 20, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

He was born July 6, 1963 in Brilliant, OH a son of the late James L. "Jim" and Marian "Kay" (Sheets) Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Terry Lee Turner.

Steve worked as an Electrician for almost 30 years at Ball Corporation first in Weirton, then in Canton and for the last 6 years at AEP Cardinal Plant in Brilliant. He enjoyed fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine "Cathy" (Leas) Turner whom he married November 19, 1988; two daughters, Kayla Turner of Wellsburg, WV and Amanda (Tyler) Dunn of Wintersville, OH; six siblings, James (Kathy) Turner of Greenville, TX, Terri (Randy) Pierce of Mingo Junction, OH, David (Rebecca) Turner of Lakewood, OH, Jacqueline (Greg) McCoy of Rayland, OH, Frank (Lynn) Turner of Stow, OH and Michael (Michelle) Turner of Flat Rock, MI; two grandchildren, Blake Turner and Jessi Cremeans and his mother-in-law, Marge (the late Randy) Leas of Mingo Junction, OH.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Avenue, Mingo Junction, OH on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dr. Vaughn Foster, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction, OH.
