Stanley D. "Bow" Boggs, 64, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Tuesday December 26, 2017 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio.

He was born July 30, 1953 in Massillon, OH a son of the late Leonard D. and Thelma P. (Norman) Boggs, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard D., Jr., Robert Allen, Darrell "Buddy" and Jimmy Boggs; and three sisters, Catherine Kitty, Carolyn Mae Cole and Madelyn Fae Cornette.

Bow was a social member of the Brilliant American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Sandy (Wilt) Boggs, whom he married on March 8, 1986; a son, Steve Boggs of Medina, OH; five daughters, Michelle Boggs of Clarksburg, WV, Tracey Cox of Warren, OH, Christie Boggs-Shamrock of Warren, OH, Melanie Boggs and Nicole Boggs, both of Brilliant, OH; two brothers, Frederick Jackson (Mannon) Boggs of New Orleans, LA and Kenneth Boggs of Canton, OH; a sister, Emmigean Smith of Canton, OH; twenty-one grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of his funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Renforth, officiating.
