Ruthie A. Burch, 73, of Rayland, OH, passed away Saturday January 14, 2023 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

She was born September 5, 1949 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Walter and Florence G. (Higgins) Kimble. Ruthie was a homemaker.

Surviving are a son, Jay A. Peterson of New Alexandria, OH; a daughter, Tracy (Ronnie) Diar of Rayland, OH; four grandchildren, Brady Carpenter, Desira (Quentin) King, Alex Diar and Kaylee Carpenter; a great-granddaughter, Zoey Mae Carpenter; and three sisters, Linda (Less) Koch and Jenny (Kenny) Koch both of Salida, CO and Mary Heartgrove of Shinnston, WV.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 6:00 p.m., with Rev. John D. Ater, officiating. Private interment at New Alexandria Cemetery.
