Russell J. "Russ" Cutri, 80, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Saturday April 27, 2024 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

He was born July 2, 1943 in Mingo Junction, OH, a son of the late Joseph and Vencenzia (Antinoro) Cutri. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ayden Drazic; three brothers, Dominic, Robert and Charles Cutri; and four sisters, Josephine Jackson, Anna Cutri, Marie Miller and Carmella Cutri.

Russ retired from the Village of Mingo Junction where he was a mechanic. He was Catholic by Faith; enjoyed working on cars; and spending time with his granddaughters.

Surviving are his wife, Linda (Drazic) Cutri, whom he married September 4, 1976; a son, Jason (Lorrie) Drazic of Weirton, WV; two granddaughters, Madison and Tessa Drazic; and a brother, Rocco (Frances) Cutri of Mingo Junction, OH.

Friends will be received at Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Avenue, Mingo Junction, OH on Tuesday from 4-8 and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction, OH.
