Ronald J. Dentz, Sr., 60, of Yorkville, OH, passed away Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Sienna Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

He was born January 14, 1957 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of the late Donald A. and Katherine E. (Nichols) Dentz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, John L., Charles S. "Chuck" and Donald Dentz; and his best friend and canine companion, Misty.

Ron retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp; he was Methodist by Faith and a diehard Cleveland Browns Fan.

Surviving are a son, Ronald J. Dentz, Jr. of St. Clairsville, OH; two daughters, Nicole C. Dentz of Canton, OH and Katherine A. Dentz of Glen Robbins, OH; two brothers, Robert L. (Gina) Dentz of Martins Ferry, OH and James A. (Koren) Dentz of Howardsville, VA; two sisters, Lois A. (Art) Jones of Brilliant, OH and Mary E. Milkes of Tennessee; and two grandsons, Ronald J. Dentz, III and Jeddo L. Dentz.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Sam Davis, officiating.
