Robert S. "Bobby" Maxwell, 55, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Sunday September 4, 2022 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

He was born May 24, 1967 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late William J. "Bill" Maxwell and Donna (Reed) Maxwell of Georges Run, OH.

Bobby retired from Nickles Bakery; he also owned Robert S. Maxwell Lawncare and Maintenance; and he worked in the housekeeping department at Trinity Medical Center West. He graduated from Buckeye North High School in 1985. Bobby was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church where he served on the board; and he was a member of the Steubenville Masonic Lodge #45 F&AM.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Janice (Dennis) Maxwell, whom he married May 4, 2008; three children, Stacey (Aaron) Dickey of Mingo Junction, OH, Dennis (Megan) Lohr of Wintersville, OH and Melanie (Lance) Delbrugge of Wintersville, OH; a brother, James Maxwell of Youngstown, OH; two sisters, Amy (Patrick) Kirkendall of Wauseon, OH and Holly (Alvin) Mercera of Akron, OH; six grandchildren, Gianna, Brandon, Jackson, Emersyn, Lyric and Kaden; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of his funeral service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Sam Davis, officiating. Private burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.
