Peggy Petrella, 88, of Mingo Junction, Ohio passed away Tuesday March 26, 2019 at Sienna Skilled Nursing Home in Wintersville, Ohio.

She was born February 13, 1931 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a daughter of the late Rex and Mae (Blankenship) Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. "Danny" Petrella on April 28, 2018; and a son, Daniel K. Petrella.

Peggy worked at Ohio Power, the Hub and the former Ohio Valley Hospital. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters Heather and Hannah Ross.

Surviving are a daughter, Kim Ross and her husband Howard Ross of Mingo Junction, OH; a sister, Janet Lukas of Arizona; and four granddaughters.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and also on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Noon, with Pastor Sam Davis, officiating. Interment will follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.
