Otis D. "Legs" Carpenter, 90, of Brilliant, Ohio passed away Sunday April 7, 2019 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH

He was born May 20, 1928 in Rayland, OH, a son of the late Otis and Olive (Jackson) Carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae (McFadden) Carpenter, whom passed away on April 2, 2002; four brothers, Richard, Melvin, James and Louis Carpenter; and a sister, Grace Long.

Otis retired in 1991 from Weirton Steel Corp; and was Methodist by Faith.

Surviving are a son, Dale D. Carpenter of Charlotte, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the mausoleum chapel at Fort Steuben Burial Estates on Friday April 12th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral services at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating
