O. Dixie Turner, 82, of New Alexandria, OH, passed away Wednesday May 28, 2025 at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA.

She was born February 17, 1943 in New Alexandria, OH, a daughter of the late Joseph "Murry" and Ruth (Hyndman) Carson.

Dixie was a teacher at Buckeye Local High School for 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a former secretary for the New Alexandria Grange. She enjoyed playing and teaching the piano.

Surviving are her husband, Robin S. Turner, whom she married December 18, 1970; three children, Amanda (John) Roach of Mingo Junction, OH, Quinten (the late Victoria) Turner of New Alexandria, OH and Timothy (Stephanie) Turner of Richmond, OH; a brother, Thomas Edward (Anita) Carson of Smithfield, OH, OH; a sister, Eleanor (Harry) Humes of Harrodsburg, KY; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
