Normalee Walker, 88, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away, Wednesday April 12, 2023, in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

She was born January 10, 1935 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Freeman "Mack" and Ruth (Chichester) McElfresh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Walker; two brothers, Dean and Richard McElfresh; a sister, Joanne McElfresh; a grandson, Jonathan Herrick; and two foster daughters, Tommi Semenis and Sherry Barnes.

Normalee was a homemaker and a member of the Finley United Methodist Church. She sold Avon for 35 years and was a former custodian at the Jefferson County Christian School.

Surviving are a son, Gary Walker of Richmond, OH; a daughter, Kim (Brian) Leas of Mingo Junction, OH; a great-grandson, Jonathan Herrick, Jr.; and a foster son, Robert (Donna) West of Durham, NC.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating. Private interment at New Alexandria Cemetery.
