Nicholas D. "Nick" Cascioli, 87, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Sunday July 30, 2017 at Sienna Woods Skilled Care in Wintersville, OH.

He was born February 28, 1930 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Joe and Carmella (Confalone) Cascioli. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie E. (Jones) Cascioli; and his brother, Daniel Cascioli.

Nick retired February 1, 1988 after 38 years of service in the Electrical Structure Gang at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Patti (Don) Hays of Mingo Junction, OH and Sharon (Robert) Chapman of Steubenville, OH; a son, Daniel Cascioli of Columbus, OH; three sisters, Marie Lowry of San Pablo, CA, Grace Crust  and Lucy Babela both of Mingo Junction, OH; five grandchildren, Nicholas Matello, David Hays, Chrissy Hays, Robert (Meaghan) Chapman, Jr. and Matthew Chapman; and a great-granddaughter, Eliza Chapman.

The family would like to thank Sienna Woods and Valley Hospice for the care they gave Nick.

Friends will be received at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 12:00 p.m. Noon, with Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant. Interment will follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed either to St. Agnes Church, 204 St. Clair Ave., Mingo Junction, OH 43938 or Valley Hospice Inc., 10686 State Route 150 Rayland, OH 43943.
