Michael J. "Mike" Barrett, 69, of Cambridge, OH, formally from Brilliant, Ohio passed away Thursday September 1, 2016 in his home.

He was born May 3, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Martin J. "Dubie" and Eleanor O. (Kerwood) Barrett, Sr.

Mike was a retired cook having worked at various places in the Ohio Valley. He also painted houses in Brilliant, alongside his brother Bob Barrett.

Surviving are two brothers Robert "Bob" Barrett of Cambridge, Ohio and Martin "Jim" (Gwen) Barrett, Jr. of Austin, TX; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews.

In following with Mike's wishes he was cremated. Graveside services will be held at New Alexandria Cemetery on Wednesday September 14th at 11:00 a.m.
