Mary A. Vandine, 97, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Wednesday July 29, 2020 at the Country Club Manor in Steubenville, OH.

She was born February 28, 1923 in Mingo Junction, OH, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rose (Fanella) Sciascia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Vandine on January 2, 1997; a brother, Carl Sciascia and a sister, Josephine Bellanca.

Mary was a homemaker and she enjoyed playing cards and slot machines. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Surviving are a son, Joe (Diane) Vandine; a daughter, Kathleen (Steve) Pavlik; a sister, Helen Moran, all of Mingo Junction, OH; four grandchildren, Danielle (Art) Miller, Alyssa (Todd) Brown, Lauren Pavlik and Brad Pavlik; and five great-grandchildren, Carson and Sienna Miller, Theo Brown, and Luka and Bella Pavlik.

Private services will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, officiating and burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 204 St. Clair Ave., Mingo Junction, OH 43938.
