Mary Ann Petrozzi, 97, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Wednesday August 20, 2025, at Grace Cottage in Weirton, WV.

She was born in Mingo Junction, OH, a daughter of the late Frank and Sara (Gampolo) Torrieri. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic J. Petrozzi on June 1, 2009.

Mary Ann was a homemaker and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Surviving are five daughters, Linda (Jerry) Vogt of Mingo Junction, OH, Diane (David) Ryan of Columbus, OH, Susan (Jake) Sutton of Irondale, OH, Sharen (Rich) Gunther of Wintersville, OH and Karen (Scott) Love of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother, Alfred (Alice) Torrieri of Perry, OH; nine grandchildren, Keith (Sara) Vogt, Kelli (Dominic) Pelc, Jeffrey Ryan, Julie Ryan, Scott (Sarah) Sutton, Matthew Sutton, Justin (Tori) Riapos, Kristin (Micah) Toth, Alyssa (Jake) Stanley; two step-grandchildren, Mariah Gunther and Whitney (CJ) Hibbs; ten great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Fiona, and Desmond Vogt, Benjamin and Adelyn Pelc, Blake Ryan, Sofia and Wally Sutton, Louisa Riapos and Abagail Toth; and two step-great-grandchildren, Brylee and Marty Hibbs.

Mary Ann's daughters would like to thank Grace Cottage for their excellent care of her for the past 6 years. Thank You to the Administrative Staff, Maintenance and the Nursing Staff and most importantly her "aides". Thank you for your patience, companionship and most of all for going above and beyond to care for her. You were her extended family, and we are touched by your attentiveness to her needs.

Thank you also to Valley Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion provided to her in her last days.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH. On Monday there will be viewing at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, OH. There will be a vigil service on Sunday at the funeral home at 5:45 p.m.
