Mary Ann Scaffidi, 84, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Sunday October 16, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born December 20, 1931 in Wintersville, Ohio a daughter of the late Earl and Catherine (Blackburn) Wade. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmello P. Scaffidi; and a brother, Thomas Wade.

Mary Ann was a mother; a homemaker; and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Surviving are a son, James (Judith) Scaffidi of Mingo Junction, OH; two daughters, Brenda (Ed) Dahlem of Steubenville, Ohio and Karen Scaffidi of Mingo Junction, Ohio; four grandchildren, Christopher Scaffidi, Jason Scaffidi, Matthew Dahlem and Cory Scaffidi; and nine great-grandchildren.

Gravesides services will be held on Tuesday at New Alexandria Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Home, Mingo Junction.
