Mary Lou Kosikowski, 89, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Wednesday July 13, 2022 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

She was born May 23, 1933 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late James R. and Mary Ann (Smith) Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Kosikowski on Sept. 7, 2012; a daughter, Esther Samson; two brothers, William and Robert Taylor; and two sisters, Violet Needham and Norma Keyser.

Mary Lou was a homemaker; Catholic by Faith; and a former member of the PNA of Steubenville. She enjoyed working with her flowers and her sons garden.

Surviving are a son, Frank (Cathie) Kosikowski of Mingo Junction, OH; a daughter, Patricia (David) Barnes of Mingo Junction, OH; three brothers, Clarence Taylor of Michigan, James (Linda) Taylor of Columbus, OH and Donald (Debbie) Taylor of Steubenville, OH; two sisters, Mildred Link of Pennsylvania and Eleanor Painter of Steubenville, OH; three grandchildren, Sammy and Lucas Samson and Melinda Sue Kosikowski and her companion Brian Channels; seven great-grandchildren; and a special great-granddaughter, Chelsea.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH on Monday from 5-9 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at New Alexandria Cemetery with Fr. James M. Dunfee, officiating.
