Mary (Chuma) Foglietti, 98, of Mingo Junction, Ohio was born July 10, 1926 and passed away peacefully on Sunday April 6, 2025 at Eliza at Chagrin Falls, with her family by her side.

Mary was a devoted member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Mingo where she sang in the choir and was a member of the St. Andrew Sisterhood. After moving to Chagrin Falls, she was a founding member of St. Luke Antiochian Orthodox Church.

A 1945 graduate of Mingo HS, Mary accepted a job working for The Ohio Power Co. as a Home Economist demonstrating Electric Appliances at events, in homes, and occasionally on television.

Eventually Mary's job would take her to an in-home oven demonstration where she met the love of her life and future husband Joe Foglietti.

Mary left Ohio Power to own and operate The Maternity and Infants Shoppe in Steubenville until she became a full-time home maker raising her two sons and supporting the family business, Sunset Grill (Foggy's) in Mingo.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Joe Foglietti, parents, Paul and Anna Chuma, brothers Paul, Steve, and David Chuma, sisters Liz Varavvas and Ann Brettell, and nephews David Chuma and Rob Brettell.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Meg) Foglietti of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Craig (Molly) Foglietti of Dublin Ohio; grandchildren, Alanna (Stephen) Fostyk, Joseph Foglietti, Maria (fiancé Colby Monachino) Foglietti, Julian Foglietti and Sofia Foglietti, great-grandchildren, Gia and Aria Fostyk; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Chuma, as well as her loving family of nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received at St Andrew Orthodox Church, 100 Summit Ave Mingo Jct. Ohio on Saturday, April 12th from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Rev. Fr. John S. Kopcha, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery, which is adjacent to church.  Due to the Orthodox observance of Lazarus Saturday, there will not be a repass dinner gathering at the church hall.
