Martin James "Jim" Barrett, Jr., 80, of Lockhart, TX, passed away December 31, 2017.

He was born September 1, 1937 in Brilliant, Ohio, a son of the late Martin J. "Dubie" and Eleanor O. (Kerwood) Barrett, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Michael John Barrett.

Jim enlisted in the Air Force in 1956 and served 21 years.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Gwendlyn "Gwen" L. (Collins) Barrett; three sons, Jerry (Leslie), Jeff (Lisa) and Jimmy (Tracy); a brother, Robert A. "Bob" Barrett; a brother in law, Carl Collins; a sister in law, June Shelton; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial were held in Lockhart, TX
