Marlene M. Wright, 82, of Wintersville, OH, formerly of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Thursday November 17, 2022 at The Laurels in Steubenville, OH.

She was born July 20, 1940 in Mingo Junction, OH, a daughter of the late Gerald R. and Agnes J. (Kucher) Firman, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Wright, Sr.; a brother, David Firman, Sr.; and two grandchildren, Liette Artman and Daniel Sullivan.

Surviving are two sons, Lawrence "Larry" (Deidre) Wright, Jr. of Weirton, WV and Brian "Mouse" (Pam) Wright of Mingo Junction, OH; three daughters, Barbara (Randall) Lesso of Canonsburg, PA, Jeanette (Sean) Sullivan of Trinity, FL and Julie (Jason) Wilkerson of Gahanna, OH; a sister, Sherry (the late Albert Sr.) Chappano of Mingo Junction, OH; a sister-in-law, Thelma Firman of Weirton, WV; eight grandchildren, Marilyn (Tom) Fontana, Lawrence (Liz) Wright, III, Timothy Lesso, Deanna Lesso, Christina (Chris) Boyd, Dr. Sean Sullivan, Lorelei Wilkerson and Janna Wilkerson; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction, OH.
