Marlene E. Chambers, 81, of Austintown, OH passed away Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Vibra Hospital of Mahoning County in Boardman, OH.

She was born August 19, 1937 at home in Brilliant, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ray W. and Dorothy M. (Rex) Joiner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Harry N. Chambers; a brother, Leonard Joiner; and a sister, Marion Fry.

Marlene retired after 20 years from Diary Mart where she was an auditor. She was Methodist by Faith; was a former Rainbow Girl when she was younger; and a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed watching birds and squirrels, playing cards on the computer and watching game shows and court cases on TV.

Surviving are her husband of almost 62 years, Harry Ronald Chambers, whom she married December 22, 1956; three children, Ronald K. (Terri) Chambers of San Tan Valley, AZ, Tamara K. (Robert) Basile of Columbus, OH and Amber S. Chambers of Austintown, OH; a sister, LaDonna Cutri of Mingo Junction, OH; nine grandchildren, Breann Chambers, Shanda Chambers, Zachery Chambers, Jacob (Alex) Basile, Isabella Basile, Chasity Basile, Journee Basile. Angeline (Joel) Theis and Joshua Theis; and her pets who were so dear to her heart, Holly, JoJo and Little Man.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, on Tuesday August 28th from 12:00 p.m. Noon, until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kathleen Anderson, officiating. Interment will follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.
