Mark J. Lowe, 65, of Weirton, WV, passed away Friday August 19, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV.

He was born August 10, 1957 in Weirton, WV, a son of the late Clarence Lowe and June (Westfall) Ray. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, William Ray.

Mark retired from Weirton Fire Department where he served as Fireman, E.M.T., Lieutenant, Captain and temporary Chief, with 28 1/2 years of service. He was also an avid WVU football fan.

Surviving are his wife, Hazel (Mallas) Lowe, whom he married August 20, 1981; two sons, Patrick Lowe and his companion Haley Wilson of New Cumberland, WV and Branden Lowe of Weirton, WV; his adopted granddaughter, Crystal Chambers; and his beloved dog Pee Wee.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Jim Agnew, officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, OH.
